Freelux Home LUMINOUS®

Whether you're planning to buy, build or renovate a home make your lighting smart right away with LUMINOUS®. You can switch on the lighting in every room at a lower brightness level which increases the atmosphere but also gives a livable impression in your absence, increases safety in the dark and saves energy. Freelux Home LUMINOUS® is very attractively priced, making it more than worthwhile, especially in new construction and renovation projects, when the electrical wiring to the switches is no longer needed and saves money.

Step-by-step application LUMINOUS®.

The L-concept: No need for fixed light switches and wiring. Consists of wireless push and turn button controls in combination with a ceiling dimmer module. A standard center box cover with 2P terminal block with phase and neutral connection is sufficient for this concept. A Freelux center box cover Pre-smart 3P is more convenient because of the plug-in contacts instead of the clumsy screw connection with the terminal block.
The L-hybrid concept: Fully or partially wired home with preparation for LUMINOUS® by applying existing Freelux Center Box Cover Pre-smart 3P with phase, neutral and switch wire connection.

With the standard light switch, an LED lamp can be "On-Off" via the switch wire without an L-dimmer module. An L-dimmer module can be connected at a later stage.
Using the standard light switch, an LED lamp can be 'On-Off' via the switch wire with L-dimmer module. 'On-Off-Dimming' and linking in multiple places with the wireless push and turn button controls. For an existing light switch, it can be replaced with a wireless one or expanded with a 2-gang frame, where the lamp can be turned on with the switch in the dimmed position while the rotary knob next to it can be used to select the position.

L-concept is also suitable for existing homes provided a phase wire is installed at the light point. In older homes the wires protrude from the center box and a cover with connection is not necessary, only new construction.

Button yes or no more ?

Even with smart lighting, as we are used to, there should still be an option to control it on the wall. An app and voice-control adds something in control but that should not lack the usual light switch or dimmer if only because multiple residents with various uses live under the same roof.

For control, a wireless pulse pressure or rotary knob is available that can be mounted anywhere on the wall. This allows on-off and dimming and even switching from white to warm/white and color without an app. LUMINOUS® is unique in that frames from common switchgear manufacturers can be selected.

Multi Buttons

Thinking in advance about where lights should be controlled from more than one place is a thing of the past. Take a pulse pressure or rotary knob, wirelessly link it to the desired lamp and then apply it to the wall.

Button, app or voice

What is special about LUMINOUS® is that simple settings and linking the controls to the dimmer modules can take place without an app. This is specially designed for residents who do not wish to be controlled via, or even connected to, the Internet. The lighting can then be made smart though by adding a gateway, this allows the home to be automated and controlled remotely by app and voice.

LED Dimmer

With the LUMINOUS® dimmer module 'cornice' you can make any dimmable LED lamp smart. The dimmer module connects near or on the ceiling between the mains supply and lamp (cord). Couple one or more wireless pulse pressure or rotary knob controls to the dimmer and you're ready to go. If you can hang a lamp you can also use LUMINOUS®, we have made it as simple as possible.
